The Inertial Navigation Unit XXX ensures precise navigation without relying on GNSS, using advanced dead reckoning technology. Equipped with an Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) that includes gyroscopes, accelerometers, and magnetometers, the XXX provides accurate data on position, heading, and distance travelled, all powered by MEMS technology.
In addition, advanced algorithms integrates data from multiple sensors, including a GNSS antenna and external odometry, to enhance accuracy. The system also features diagnostics and a Driver’s Display Unit (DDU) for improved usability. Qualified to MIL-STD 810 G/H standards, the XXX is ideal for autonomous navigation systems in unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) and various types of armoured vehicles, ensuring reliable performance in demanding environments.
LPP also produces similar systems, including AHRS sensors for aircrafts and IMUs for UAVs, to address a range of navigation needs in demanding environments.
