The Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) is a MEMS-based navigation system designed for dead reckoning in GNSS-denied environments. By utilizing accelerometers and gyroscopes, it accurately determines attitude, heading, velocity, and position, enabling UAV positioning without reliance on GPS.
Seamlessly integrated with LPP Visual Navigation AVN and the LPP UAV Autopilot, the IMU enhances autonomous drone navigation for MTS drones, ensuring stability and precise trajectory control in GPS-jammed areas. Developed in-house, it integrates effortlessly into existing systems, providing reliable dead reckoning capabilities for autonomous UAV operations in challenging conditions.
